Great hoodie! I’ve also got one of the juniper hoodies without the zip and it has been my favorite, now I think this might replace it as my new favorite hoodie!

Excited to Disappointed at First Wash - Pilling

This year, I was excited to receive the Juniper Zip Hoodie in "Tundra" as a Christmas present. I have wanted one for years, but I have struggled to find an XL in stock anywhere. I have wanted one for years, but I have struggled to find an XL in stock anywhere. First Impression: The moment I touched the hoodie I was like "Wow, this is soft." This is one of the best-fitting hoodies I have ever put on - it was like it was tailor-made for me (6'3 255lbs, Barrel Chest) - fit amazing, feels amazing - super happy - 10/10 Then, I washed it... I washed it inside out, in cold water, and hung it to dry - I followed the wash instructions as opposed to my normal "throw it all in the wash together" as I didn't want to risk shrinking the thing. I take it out of the wash and hang it to dry - I notice these little balls all over the front of the hoodie - thinking it must be lint, as it didn't go through the dryer - Once it dries I take a lint roller to it, and notice the little balls weren't coming off... So feeling dumb, I asked my wife what I was doing wrong - she advised it was pilling, not lint. It's very disappointing that this hoodie, which is a month old, now looks several years old and worn. The hoodie still fits well, but the lining is also very diminished. Overall, it now feels more like a 2/10. It may be an off-product. I received the Juniper Hoodie about three weeks ago (before the pilling on the zip) So when I went to wash it I was like, "Well, if the other one got messed up following the instructions, might as well just wash this one like normal—into the wash on cold, into the dryer on low. What's the worst that could happen? " That sweatshirt still looks new, with no pilling, and the inside is still full and soft, after multiple washes. I have uploaded some pictures to show what I am talking about - and this is after trying to remove some of the pilling - with a look at the hood to show what the fabric looked like prior.

Nice sweater, thinner than expected

I'm always happy with my tentree purchases, but I thought this sweater would have been the same thickness as their other hoodies.

Juniper Zip Hoodie

The hoodie was a gift for my husband . This is his second one and he really likes it . The fit is very good . He likes to wear it in the winter when the weather is not to cold but he will also wear it under a wind breaker as a winter jacket/hoodie.
